The Williamsport Area School District Education Foundation's golf tournament is held each year in support of the district's athletic program. Thanks to the support of our golfers, donors and sponsors, the event has helped fund the new fitness center at WAHS, providing $39,000 toward those improvements, thanks to the proceeds of the tournament. The fitness center opened in the spring of 2014.
Since 2014, the golf tournament has supported the foundation's Return to Glory capital campaign and has raised $16,640 toward the more than $2.35 million the organization has raised toward the renovations at STA Stadium.

About the WASD Education Foundation — The WASD Education Foundation is a community-based non-profit organization dedicated to funding the enhancement of educational programming and opportunities for students of the Williamsport Area School District that would otherwise be unavailable.
With the help of our donors, we work toward a mission of "securing resources, enriching education" by supporting programs, projects and initiatives to strengthen the student experience.
In the face of diminishing state and federal dollars for school districts, and with 64 percent of WASD students receiving free-and-reduced lunch every day, the need for our organization is increasing to deliver on the promise of a quality education. But to achieve this goal we need your support.
